The solar panel on this 4 LED rechargeable light is worn out after a year or so. The original light with 2 AA batteries never last through the night when charged . I replaced two of the blown leds with smaller 3 mm LEDs which I have plenty of. I installed higher capacity AA rechargeable batteries and a much bigger solar panel. I charged it for 3 or 4 hours in the sun today and it has been burning brightly for 3 hours now. I will monitor it tomorrow as the 1.8 watt panel might overcharge the AA batteries. I incorrectly labeled the solar light as Maverick. Actually, the brand is Malibu and the light seems to be well constructed.
