NMI CRIME STOPPERS Crime of the Week November 18, 2010 Crime Stoppers is seeking the community's assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred at the Saipan Industrial Gas Inc., located in Lower Base. The gas company was burglarized twice last week. The first incident occurred on Wednesday, November 10, and second crime committed the next day, Thursday, November 11, 2010. The burglaries were committed while the office was closed. The suspect broke into the office either late at night, or during the early morning hours. The suspect(s) gained entry to the establishment and were able to steal over $ 1500.00 worth of tools to include a Car Jack, bush cutter, Black & Decker Sander; Black & Decker paint sprayer, a Makita Drill set, some beer, sodas, snacks, and a Black Nokia cell phone. The next night, suspects broke into Saipan Industrial Gas a second time, stealing a car battery, and an adjustable wrench. DPS and Crime Stoppers are seeking help from the public.
